Describe your childhood/growing up years (8-13 years old):
Growing up from a family and a community that values tradition and culture, with unity and interdependence and most especially God-fearing, these traits honed me to be the responsible individual I am today. Now, it's my time to give back to our community in my own little yet impactful way.

What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
I learned how to be compassionate ineverything that surrounds me, not just with my lovedones but also in our nature. We should begrateful to Mother Earth because it gives us life. It is our responsibility to cultivate and protect nature because it is the source of our daily needs andit helps us survive during calamities.

Most memorable moment:
I will not forget the times when my grandmother used to tag me along in taking care of our plants, we used to enjoy watering them while having a good laugh, even though she’s no longer with us now, our garden serves as a remnant of joyful times with her which our family cherish most.

Why do you want to be Miss Philippines Earth?
Becoming the Miss Earth Philippines 2021 will help me reach my goal to give back to our nature sooner. As an Educator, I will use any means possible to show people especially the younger generations the value of valuing nature, we might not see drastic changes at first but I am firm that our micro efforts now will bring macroresults in our ecosystem thus our future.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
To increase the number of trees, especially mangroves in places near seas and oceans, that is my environmental advocacy. I came up with this due to last years’ experience with typhoon Ulysses, when it hit the country, our province was heavily affected. Lots of areas were flooded, houses were wrecked, livelihoods destroyed, and none of us were left unscathed. I decided to findways on how I can help prevent or lessen the damage calamities can bring us. With this I came up with the idea of conducting seminars about environmental protection and its effects towards nature to convince people to act against environmental degradation and contribute protecting the environment by following the 5Rs: rethink, reduce, reuse, recycle, and respect. I know what I’m doing will do good in our Nature’s future, for I have learned in this journey that smallest act of kindness can make the biggest impact.
