Describe your childhood/growing up years (8-13 years old):
Every detail was considered as best, despite of the early challenges that I experienced, I would say I have managed to live life genuinely. My childhood and growing years are full of appreciation about life, curiosity gave me the enthusiasm to explore, do more, reflect and learn with no regrets.
What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
Always root from a happy faith, for none of our experiences are not meant to be, those were ours to live, to mold us. Appreciate time and moments genuinely, tomorrow is never certain, contentment is an ingredient and above all, always acknowledge the Almighty Father.
Most memorable moment:
2015, the last New Year celebration with the clan my grandmother was able to attend and enjoyed the first ever fireworks we had, her beauteous smile gave me the confirmation of her fulfilment and that we are able to live good years with her before she died.
Why do you want to be Miss Philippines Earth?
People may primarily see beauty and glamour in this kind of competition, but I want to show them the true essence of pageantry.
I want to be the next Miss Earth Philippines, for I have the heart and desire to allow myself be utilized in bridging gaps through communication and strategic planning, pursuing sustainable development in the essential dimensions of the environment; the physical, biological and social.
There are still so much for me to learn, but I believe my willingness to absorb learnings, corrections, my loyalty and passion are qualities an ambassadress of the earth qualifies.
What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
I am for THE CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, SPECIFYING AND EQUALLY PRIORITIZING ITS THREE MAIN ELEMENTS:
Uniform economic growth, protection and preservation of environment and respect and improvement of social and human rights.
I chose to focus on these as it cannot be understated that there is a need for balance in everything, development per se must be holistic, not selective.
