Describe your childhood/growing up years (8-13 years old):
I have happy memories with my family and friends. I grew up walking, playing, biking, and scooter outside. Most of my playmates are boys. We used to play yoyo, cards, crash-gears, kites and more. I actually don’t have any girl toys. My mom was very busy at work while my brother and sister were at school. I had most of my time with my dad. He bring and picked me up in school every day. We used to go every weekends in the beach with his best friend, which is my Ninong. I grew up participating in any church activities most especially during summer.

What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
My childhood is not the age for learning life lessons. It's the age that I discover, enjoy, and to spread happiness around the people. Through these I should be able to become unique and it is the biggest life lesson that I can get in life.

Most memorable moment:
My most memorable and fulfilling day would be my graduation day in 2017! When I was in high school, I remember saying: “I want to be an accountant!” Unfortunately, I was not able to qualify from the program because of the grade standards. However, I am graduating for completing my Business Administration program, majoring Financial Management, which closely related to accountancy program. It was challenging no doubt because I never had a business administration background before I took up the professional course, but upon completion, I must say I learnt that nothing is impossible as long you put your heart, mind and soul to do something.

Why do you want to be Miss Philippines Earth?
Foremost, I believe that Miss Philippines Earth gives a platform to represent myself and express what I feel for the environment. I can express my opinion in front of more people and if I want to change something in this world, Miss Philippines Earth is one of the best options. I can emphasize more on environmental causes and can also work for it.

Secondly, I believe that Miss Philippines Earth helps to improve young lady’s personalities and the way they show themselves to the world. Thirdly, through Miss Philippines Earth, I'll have an opportunity to be called PHILIPPINES in the international stage, if I fortunately win it. I would be able to show the culture and beauty of our country with other girls worldwide.

With that, I am ready to take the responsibility as the next woman of the Earth.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
Endangered species refers to those animals that face the risk of extinction from the planet altogether. The animals are so few that they could disappear from the globe if serious action is not taken. The animals were threatened by many factors such as habitat loss, hunting, diseases, and a change in the climate. Such factors continue to decrease the number of such animal species.

I have chosen this advocacy due to the fact that it is vital to save our wild animals, wild plants, and other wildlife from going extinct. Once gone, they're gone forever, and there's no going back. Emphasis on the conservation of the endangered species of animals has been important in conserving the environment at large. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) had created awareness on the causes of climate change and its effect. Accordingly, the most serious effect has been on the wild animals that drastically reduce in number due to the adverse change in the climate. The conservation of endangered species has ensured that the habitat for all animals is restored and preserved. Conservation of the rare species of animals has benefited most countries by leading the way to eco-tourism and environmental preservation.

What tip can you share to promote eco-tourism in your City or Municipality?
It is indeed the best way to use social network in promoting our eco-tourism in the City of Pagadian. A social network is a platform for people to socialize and talk about things that matter to them. Recently, travel companies in Pagadian City have seen significant positive impacts in their industry through social media because people are constantly seeking travel blogs and social networks to decide their next travel location. So, as an ecotourism company, you need to start the conversation on this sustainable form of travel. With your knowledge and expertise, ecotourism gets promoted by educating people on every aspect of it, which will get more people involved in this activity. This is environmentally sustainable tourism that focuses on socially responsible travel and the traveler’s growth. It is also educational, aimed at offering insights to tourists on the human impact on the environment while fostering an appreciation of natural habitats. This form of tourism encourages tourists to travel to environments where flora, fauna, and rich cultural heritage are the primary tourist attractions. Ecotourists experience pristine and relatively undisturbed areas of the world and have the opportunity to interact with biotic components of the natural environment.
