Describe your childhood/growing up years (8-13 years old):
As the eldest child, I grew up taking care of my younger siblings. I loved spending time with my younger sister, my best friend. We used to paint and sing together. Both of my parents worked abroad during this time to provide for me and my sister, I would always tell her bed time stories and we imagined being in a pirate ship together.

What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
I was raised by a single father and at a young age I have been taught by my father that strength comes in with kindness and love, and that gender won't define your abilities and capabilities. With this, despite the challenges of going into the male-dominated industry of engineering, I still pursued my dream and became a Civil Engineer while carrying the courage and values my father has taught me.

Most memorable moment:
My most memorable moment is when I adopted my cat Gracia. When I found her she was so frail and sick, the veterinarian said she had no chance to live. She was in a coma. I brought her to work every day in my tiny little basket, fed her in a tube, give her medicine and put her under morning sunlight for an hour, to warm her up. After a week, she miraculously woke up and started walking. From then on, she grew up as a sweet fat cat. I may have saved her life, but she also saved mine as I found hope and will to live.

Why do you want to be Miss Philippines Earth?
To be Miss Philippines Earth requires passion and determination to be a change-maker, someone who will fight to save the environment. For years I have been practicing a sustainable lifestyle and by becoming Miss Philippines Earth 2022 I can use this opportunity to inspire more people to switch to sustainable living. This is in line with my belief that NOW is the time to take action to save our home, our planet and save humanity.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
With my belief that our best efforts to create change in this world is by starting with ourselves, my environmental advocacy is sustainable living. As we reduce our personal and societal environmental impact we can create positive changes which will counteract climate change.

What tip can you share to promote eco-tourism in your City or Municipality?
The best way to promote eco-tourism, not just in my city or province, is by creating an eco-tourism driven content strategy. In this day and age of technology, our best aid to promote such a strategy is through social media.
