Height: 5 feet 4 inches
Measurements: 29 inches - 24 inches - 30 inches
Occupation: Research Scientist

Describe your childhood/growing up years (8-13 years old):
When I was 8 years old, we travelled from Zamboanga to Manila, and I pursued my studies there ever since. At first, it was difficult to adjust since I came from the province and I was not used to the hustle and bustle of the City, but I managed to cope with the situation in time.

What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
One of the lessons that I have learned growing up is learning how to cope with the situation and being responsible enough to be independent. Since I was an only child for almost 10 years, my mother taught me things which I could not learn in school like how to manage time efficiently, how to shop for groceries with a certain budget, and how to go around the city by myself. It was a great thing to learn since being smart is good, but being wise is better.

Most memorable moment:
My most memorable moment was when I passed the Chemist Licensure Exam last 2018. The moment I saw my name on the list of passers, I was extremely pleased since I knew that all my patience and hard work finally paid off. It wasn’t an easy path to graduate as a BS Chemistry student, much more becoming a Licensed Chemist here in the Philippines.

Why do you want to be Miss Philippines Earth 2019?
I want to be Miss Philippines Earth 2020 because having the title would help me reach more people to be aware of what our planet is facing, especially environmental-wise. I would like to share my background and knowledge in Chemistry, specifically in the environmental aspect, to the young people, so that we can have our share in making our planet better by involving them in activities that would have a positive impact on our environment.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
Over the past few days, our planet’s degradation has increased persistently due to numerous problems in our environment, and as a chemist who is working in a Manufacturing company. I would like to advocate the use of sustainable products, reduction on the use of plastic, energy conservation and wastewater treatment. Of course, this advocacy will be done in such a way that the Manufacturing companies would realize that they should be actively participating in the projects that are for the betterment of our environment. This would also bring awareness to the employees so that each and one of us can have a share, may it be big or small, for the future of Mother Earth.
