    Laguna bet Yllana Marie Aduana wins Miss Philippines Earth 2023

    Yllana Marie Aduana won the Miss Philippines Earth 2023 title during the coronation night held Saturday in Toledo City, Cebu. After the 3-hour battle, Aduana bested 28 other candidates for the title that highlights advocacies to protect the Earth. Miss Philippines Air 2023 went to Kerri Reilly of Mangatarem, Pangasinan while Puerto Princesa bet Jemimah Joy Zabala won Miss Philippines Water 2023. Sha’uri Livori of the Filipino community in Melbourne, Australia took the Miss Philippines Fire 2023 title while Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2023 was clinched by Athena Auxillo of Toledo City.

    Miss Philippines Earth 2022, the 22nd edition of the Miss Philippines Earth pageant, was held in Coron, Palawan where Jenny Ramp from Santa Ignacia, Tarlac was crowned the new queen. During the question-and-answer, Ramp was asked about the battles she is facing. “The battle that I am facing is against myself. Every single day, I strive to be the better version of myself and during this pageant, I certainly battled myself. I was dealt with insecurities. I felt alone. But this empowered me to do better, to do better for myself, for my family, for my friends, and for environment,” she said.

    Naelah Alshorbaji from Paranaque City was named Miss Philippines Earth 2021 during the pageant’s second virtual coronation. Alshorbaji wants to take home the top crown because she wants “to have a greater platform to promote the change I want to see in the world.” The other winners are: Miss Philippines Air – Ameera Almamari from Atimonan, Quezon, Miss Philippines Water – Rocel Angelah Songano from Iloilo City, Miss Philippines Fire – Roni Meneses from Mandaluyong City and Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism – Sofia Lopez Galve from Tanay, Rizal.

    Miss Philippines Earth 2020 was the 20th edition of the pageant. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines, the pageant was held via virtual contest via the contestants’ residences on July 26, 2020. At the end of the event, Janelle Tee crowned Roxanne Baeyens of Baguio as Miss Philippines Earth 2020. With her crowned are the court of elemental queens: Patrixia Santos was named Miss Philippines Air, Gianna Llanes was named Miss Philippines Water, Shane Tormes was named Miss Philippines Fire, and Ilyssa Mendoza was named Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2020.

    Due to COVID-19, Lorraine Schuck, Executive Vice President of Carousel Productions, announced that they are now preparing for a virtual presentation of Miss Philippines Earth 2020 that will be aired on ABS CBN and on their official facebook account on May 24, tentatively. She also said that the pageant is holding a series of Facebook forums featuring current titleholders and delegates on environmental issues and their uses to fight COVID-19.

    Janelle Lazo Tee, the waterlily of Pasig City, bested 39 other blossoms of the country to win the Miss Philippines Earth 2019 title during the coronation day held at The Cove, Okada Manila, Wednesday, 10 June. Tee was a co-host of Wowowin on GMA 7 and lifestyle show host in ANC’s Chinoy TV on ABS-CBN. Prior to winning the title, the entrepeneur host joined Miss Philippines Earth 2014 and entered the semi-finals.

    The Philippines has won its fourth Miss Earth crown! Karen Ibasco, a medical physicist who graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas, bested 84 other candidates during the Miss Earth 2017 pageant held last night at the Mall of Asia Arena (MOA) in Pasay City. Colombia’s Juliana Franco was crowned Miss Earth Waterr, while Australia’s Nina Robertson and Russia’s Lada Akimova were crowned Miss Earth Air and Miss Earth Fire respectively.

Also proclaimed winners were Miss PH Air Kim de Guzman from Olongapo City, Miss PH Water Jessica Marasigan from Caloocan, Miss PH Fire Nellza Bautista from Misamis Oriental, and Miss PH Ecotourism Vanessa Mae Castillo from Lobo, Batangas.

The predjuging shall be held on three separate occasions; figure & form, beauty of face & poise and intelligence category where the top 12 finalist will be choosen and announce at the finals on July 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena, with telecast on ABS-CBN on July 16 at 10 am and on The Filipino Channel (TFC). Judges of each category shall be personalities from related fields of expertise.
